Westward Bound...

We are currently en route towards Nashville. Needed to use the
restroom, stopped at Hardees. Of course, when in Rome...so we ordered
food. This is the second time in a month for Hardees and I must
say..I have nothing but good things to say about either experience.
As I was eating the Texas Toast from the commercial (damned
advertising actually working) I saw a framed photo of a Hardees sign
reading burgers for 15 cents. The photo wasn't very old...maybe 70s.
Anyway, it made me think of when I was young in R.I. hearing about a
Burger Chef having burgers for that same price until ultimately losing
out to Mac & BK. Does this ring a bell for anyone, or have I stumbled
upon yet another self-created myth in the memory banks?

I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free. - Michelangelo

Imagination is such a wonderful, powerful force.  I have struggled with what I thought was possible for me to achieve, versus what I dreamed could be.  I now realize that it is such a fine line that many don't cross, a line that separates those who do and those who don't.  I look forward to the next 18 months of travel, productions and lots of imagination.  Please, check back to my sites to see what I am "up to"...

After eating McDonald's yesterday (after a year+) and Hardees today
(first time) - I miss my home cooking. That being said, there is
something to be said for the "not so fast" food (Hardees), where you
take a # and they deliver to the table. Maybe, I'm just waxing poetic
because I was REALLY hungry. The Frisco with Onion Rings, in case you

Happy Halloween from The Mad Hatter!

Every summer at Hole in the Wall Camps, hundreds of children become athletes and actors, painters and poets, swimmers and singers, clowns and canoe paddlers, naturalists, equestrians, and hot air balloonists. It is amazing what these campers accomplish in one week; just as amazing are the obstacles they overcome on a daily basis, for these children suffer from serious illnesses such as cancer, sickle cell anemia, HIV/AIDS, and hemophilia. Camp helps keep them going -- throughout the many challenges of serious illness.

In this video, Duane Langley (The Mad Hatter) asks you to support Jason Andrew Bodnar.

In Jason's words:  "As a member of Team Hole in the Wall, I am using my participation in the ING New York City Marathon on November 7, 2010 as a way to raise funds for and bring awareness to Hole in the Wall Camps. Please help me reach (or even exceed!) my goal by clicking on my support button. With your generosity, we can all share in the joy of knowing that we are helping to create memories that will last a lifetime.

After witnessing the 2009 NYC Marathon in Central Park, I felt compelled to give it my best shot and enter the race. I have always had a competitive streak and I feel that I can put that to good use in participating with Team Hole In The Wall. Please help us raise funds for children to go to their camps and with every $25 increment; I will give you a raffle number for a drawing to be held at the finish line. You will have a chance to win the painting "Immortal Love" (or 2 others) and most of all you will make a difference in the lives of a child and their parents. Thank you and good luck..."

For every $25 you Donate to Jason’s charity – Team Hole In The Wall – you will recieve a Raffle Number. The Raffle will be performed by Jason’s daughter at the Finish Line of this year’s ING New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 7th. The winner of the Raffle will receive their choice of one of three of Jason’s paintings.

Jason Andrew Bodnar's talent is as great as his heart, and so not only will you be helping those who are in need, but you will be making a wise investment, as well.  Jason's artwork has been featured throughout New York City and New England.  His paintings have sold for...well, let's just say, much more than a Raffle Number, or two, or...

EVERYONE who Donates can share in the joy of knowing that they are helping to create memories that will last a lifetime. Valuable Paintings & Lifetime Memories – What a WIN/WIN Situation!!!
